K/D Ratio, book two in Gamer Files, has officially hit 10,000 words in the first week of National Novel Writing Month. Hopefully this means you won’t have to wait long to get the follow-up to Toxic.
Launch Party for Toxic
My writing journey has been a long one, but I can’t believe how quickly this is all happening. Toxic released earlier this week and has already gained more attention than I’d expected. I had a bit of a snafu with getting copies of my book in time for the launch party, but it was still a success! The copies I ordered finally arrived yesterday and I have pre-ordered and signed copies starting to ship out tomorrow.
Ley Esses was also there to launch the third and final book of The Chroma Series. I am the editor for that series, and can definitely recommend it. I have them listed on my Books page.
Toxic is still only available at this time on Amazon or by directly contacting me, which you can do through my Facebook page. I am working with Barnes & Noble to have it available for Nook and print through them as well.
Progress on K/D Ratio
As for K/D Ratio, I continue to make good progress in the first draft. I briefly outlined it a few weeks ago and continue to make changes as I go, as I am a pantser at heart. I’m well beyond the inciting incident and into the preliminary amateur investigations.
Like Toxic, the sequel follows the story of Athena Dellis. She gained some fame in the gaming community after the events of the first book, but it’s not all good. K/D Ratio is set up to be a cat-and-mouse style mystery. Then again, things might still change. I try to never hold a story too firmly at the outset.
Most of all, I want to thank everyone who has supported me so far. If you’ve read the book, please don’t forget to leave an honest review.
